In March 2025, we had the pleasure of taking part in the international event Hope as a Civic Skill, organized in Oslo by NECE – Networking European Civic Education.
Educators, activists, and researchers from across Europe attended the event. The main theme was hope as a civic skill – understood as a skill that can be developed and nurtured, and which is essential for building civic engagement, community, and responsibility in uncertain times.
During discussions and workshops, we shared our experiences working with local communities and explored practical ways to strengthen hope – both in educational and activist activities.
We thank the organizers for the invitation and the opportunity to join this inspiring event. See you in September at the next meeting, also in Oslo, as part of the NECE festival!
